Delete your Versera account

In the app

  1. Open More → Settings → Delete Account.
  2. Read the explanation. If you have a subscription, Manage App Store Subscription opens Apple's controls; cancelling is optional and is not a condition for account deletion.
  3. Confirm Delete Account. A connection is needed. If an error appears, deletion has not been confirmed; retry or contact support.

This removes your account, profile, library membership, vocabulary, reading progress, settings, feature requests, votes and feedback. The deleting device also removes its local account data. Deletion is permanent; it is not temporary deactivation.

File cleanup and deletion requests to service providers run separately and may finish later or retry after a failure. An identical EPUB can remain while another account or the catalog still references it. Backups, security records and legally required records can remain according to their retention rules. Other devices' offline copies cannot be erased remotely while they are offline. See the privacy policy.

Subscriptions are separate

Deleting the app or account does not cancel Versera+. Apple can continue charging until you cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. You can also use Apple's subscription instructions.

If you cannot sign in

Email [email protected] and ask for account deletion. Use the email associated with your account if possible. We verify ownership before deleting; knowledge of an email address alone is not sufficient. Do not send your password.
